Today

State - Slept 7 hrs

Body still exhausted, trouble extricating myself from bed.  Not hung over, but not surprising either.  Tried to consume minimally to balance out yesterdays gorge blow through my overall grogginess.  Did nothing after work.

Unrestful Day

State - slept 6 hrs.

Up early to do the farmers market, carbohydrate loaded all day.  1.5 hour nap around 4, still mostly tired by nights end.  Either sluggish from excess carbs, or poor sleep, or both.

Big Eats

State - 7 hours sleep

My hip flexors are incredibly sore, likely from the flutter-kicks yesterday; a good sign they are weak and inflexible.  I ate a lot today, and felt pretty low on the gumption scale, but managed to kick it once I'd committed to the days WOD.  Post WOD I feel energized and ready for another.  Will have to force myself to rest tomorrow.  Strangely enough my abs were more resilient today.

Ab Rock-er

State -  

Chest still tight from Angie two days ago, shoulder feeling better with a day of rest, Left quad tight, not sure how that happened.  Didn't want to push my shoulder, likewise for the quad, so opted for a core session just to keep blood moving.

First Angie

Completed my first Crossfit - Angie - last night, followed by a heart shuddering dip in the ocean. 
My time was 22:35, which is acceptable.  I should easily shave a few minutes off once I figure out how to kip my pullups, and when my Acromion injury feels strong again, the pushups won't be nearly as difficult.

Rest Day


Rest day today. Although my run from work to the theater (3km in 13mins.) has left my shins pretty sore.
